This Business Privacy Policy explains how Residents Guide LLC ("Residents Guide," "we," "us") handles business data, directory listings, and administrative account details. When you submit an intake reservation, order a service, or manage a listing, you agree to this business privacy policy alongside our Business Terms, Payment Terms, and Cancellation Policy.
These terms also operate alongside our general Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookies Policy, which apply to all use of the Residents Guide platform.
2. Public Directory Information
Residents Guide is designed to help local neighbors discover trustworthy community businesses. When you submit or claim a business profile, the commercial information intended for the public is displayed across our neighborhood guides and discovery tools:
Business trade name, category, and description
Physical business location, service areas, and operating hours
Published phone numbers, website links, and booking pages
Business imagery, logos, photos, and licensing credentials
Submitting this information authorizes Residents Guide to host, format, and share it across our community directory so residents can find and connect with your business.
3. Private Account and Banking Details
We maintain a strict boundary between public commercial listings and your private administrative records. We do not sell, rent, or publicly display private account information, which includes:
Direct officer contact details and private mobile numbers
Billing email addresses and account management credentials
Payment transfer memos, bank confirmation codes, and wire receipts
Tax identification numbers and internal audit records
This information is kept confidential and is used solely for account management, identity verification, payment reconciliation, and fraud prevention.
4. Operational Communications
To manage your commercial presence, we provide important transactional and account notices. By maintaining a commercial profile or submitting an order, you agree to receive essential operational communications via email or text, including:
Order confirmations, invoices, and payment receipts
Account verification updates and credential notices
Service updates and renewal reminders
Because these communications are necessary to administer your active commercial profile, they cannot be turned off while an account or reservation remains open. Marketing and promotional messages can be managed or opted out of at any time.
5. Record Keeping and Account History
We maintain secure administrative records of partner submissions, payment verifications, and signed authorizations (including submission timestamps and IP logs). These records ensure an accurate commercial account history, fulfill accounting and tax obligations, and protect both parties in the event of a billing question.
